Predeparture

So, I am leaving for Spain tomorrow! I can't believe that I will be leaving so soon. I am getting more and more excited about my trip but I am also getting worried, mainly about traveling on my own and making sure I don't forget anything for the trip. However, once getting there is over with, I think what will be hard for me is living with a family that I don't know. I think I will do fairly well with communicating to the native speakers but understanding what they will say will be challenging for me. I am most excited about the excursions that we will do as a group because I love learning about history and I know we are going to visit some historic sites. What I hope to gain from this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity is to make new friends and have unforgettable experiences. But most of all, to become more fluent in Spanish.
